The Mechanix BREACHER FR Nomex is a functional and flame-retardant tactical glove with D3O knuckle protection.

The Mechanix BREACHER is a functional and flame-retardant operational glove with D3O knuckle protection.

Mechanix has particularly incorporated the experience gained from access units in the development of the Breacher FR Nomex. The main focus was on the protective properties without limiting the functionality. The glove has a D3O knuckle protection and on the finger bones a rubber coating of thermal plastic to intensively protect these areas from blunt impacts. A D3O padding on the ball of the hand reduces shock and vibration. Further protection for the back of the hand and fingers is provided by Nomex®, which is incorporated into these areas to minimize the possibility of injury from heat and flames.

There are no protectors on the trigger finger (left and right) to 100% ensure that the duty weapon can be operated

Double additional stitching on the trigger finger allows the glove fingertip to be cut off, preventing fraying. Nappa leather in the palm provides an exceptionally homogeneous fit, especially when handling weapons and other police activities. The index finger and thumb are touch screen compatible. The width is adjusted with a Velcro closure.

Three-dimensional structuring matches the natural curvature of the hand for optimal freedom of movement, gripping power and dexterity.

Flame resistant FR Nomex® protects the hand from heat and flame.

D3O padding in the ball of the hand reduces shock and vibration.

Anatomically fitted soft D3O protectors in knuckle area and plastic reinforcements on top of knuckles.

Trigger finger without protectors improves handling at the gun.

Additional seam on trigger finger prevents fraying when glove top is cut off.

Double stitching improves durability.

Touchscreen capable leather.

Drawstring for easier donning.

Low-profile Velcro closure provides a secure fit on the wrist.

D3O is a unique, flexible material that locks on impact making it "hard" and returns to the flexible state after impact. The flexibility and softness of D3O material brings great comfort without diminishing safety. Hard protectors often reduce the comfort of a glove. The D3O is soft and flexible and adapts to the shape of the hand, for optimum comfort.
