The Garmont Nemesis 4.1 is a cut-resistant, tactical ankle-high mission boot for on-duty use. The mission boot is ideal for activities that require speed, flexibility and athleticism. The Nemesis upper is made of an innovative fabric composed of polyurethane, polyamide and polyester. This new type of textile fabric is designed to weave the extremely abrasion-resistant PU threads directly into the fabric construction, providing maximum abrasion resistance in the areas where it is most needed
The innovative Nemesis upper can improve physical performance and increase user comfort. The Nemesis is lighter, more flexible, requires less break-in time and feels more like athletic shoes than traditional work shoes. At the same time, it offers full protection and durability. The Nemesis upper is much more flexible and comfortable than the durable leather used in traditional boots.
Features such as flexibility, cushioning, cut/abrasion resistance, breathability, durability and safety are the main characteristics of the Nemesis. The latest "One Piece of Upper" material technology allows the entire upper to be constructed in one weaving phase. The end result is wearing boots that feel like socks.
Another benefit of the "One Piece of Upper" solution is the increased strength of the upper. The Nemesis upper exceeds the recommended abrasion resistance in wet conditions for demanding footwear, which requires a minimum of 12,800 rpm, with a value of 200,000 revolutions (EN 13520, ISO / TR 20879). The same applies to the flexibility test - 200,000 cycles without loss of elasticity (EN ISO 20344).
CUT RESISTANCE: According to EN388, the Nemesis 4.1 achieves protection level 5, the highest level of protection.
TOE CAP: Extruded thermoplastic synthetic composite material, 0.95 mm heat fused on both sides.
HEEL COVER: Extruded thermoplastic synthetic composite material, 1.3 mm heat fused on both sides.
TOE AND HEEL COVER: 1.2 mm thick black scratched rubber with high abrasion resistance and flame retardant compound.
LAST: The contours of the "erGo-Last" anatomical last are smooth and rounded to match the shape of the human foot. Shoes built on this last better envelop the foot, especially in the heel and sole area, for a more comfortable, ergonomic fit
SOUL SYSTEM WITH DOUBLE CUSHIONING TECHNOLOGY: The midsole consists of a two-part system that provides superior shock absorption. The long midsole absorbs impact at the bottom of the foot, while the inner half shock absorber absorbs impact at the heel. The combined result is improved cushioning and less fatigue. The inner layer is more anatomically designed in the heel and toe area to reduce foot movement in the shoe, in addition to increasing overall comfort and stability. The long EVA midsole is reinforced in the midfoot area with a fitted shank to increase torsional rigidity. An ultra-thin TPU layer is inserted in the toe area to provide protection from rugged, rocky terrain.
OUTSOLE: The VIBRAM outsole is made of a high performance compound for a variety of work and use applications. This compound and the special positioning of the grooves provide a high level of grip on uneven ground, as well as durability and comfort. The sole is made of extremely durable rubber with <100 mm3 abrasion resistance (ISO 4649) hardness grade A 57 ° -63 ° (ISO 868)
1. Large contact area in the toe area for grippy performance on outdoor, indoor and off-road surfaces.
2. Wide bumper in the heel area for improved grip, foot stability and natural rolling (touchdown).
3. Profile with different heights for better traction and stopping.
Shaft height: 15 cm.
Weight: approx. 1080 g/pair (size 42).
