The Katadyn Water Filter Vario from the Backcountry Series has various filter options. It doesn't matter whether the water is clear, cloudy or smells bad, the pump filter Vario filters it with a cleanable ceramic dirt filter and a microbiological glass fiber filter with low pumping resistance. The "Longer Life" mode, which can be switched on, is suitable for cloudy water. The "Faster Flow" mode uses the glass fiber filter with direct flow. The pump capacity is increased to up to 2 L/min. The activated carbon granules can be replaced regularly to reduce chemicals and bad taste. The dual pumping mechanism ensures continuous performance with minimal effort. The replacement filter elements are available individually and are easily exchangeable (ceramic disc, glass fiber filter with activated carbon, activated carbon granules).
The delivery is without a bottle. The Vario water filter is suitable for bottles with a bottle neck diameter of 55 mm, such as the Klean Kanteen Wide.
