The patent-pending Laser Cut Low Profile Plate Carrier (LPC) from Warrior Assault Systems represents a new generation of plate carriers. Developed with direct input from members of the British Special Forces, the LPC incorporates many new features that make it one of the best carriers on the market.
The LPC features new ventilating Thermo Pads which allow heat to evaporate from the body and increase airflow for cooling. The Thermo Pad also helps to reduce the backplate signature associated with ballistic trauma. The LPC features the ROC (Rapid Open Connector) quick release/drop system on the sides and shoulder straps, which allows the plate carrier to be removed very quickly. It only takes a few seconds to put it back together.
The LPC uses state-of-the-art materials to reduce the IR signature and overall weight. Standard features include a removable MOLLE front flap that is held in place by two vertical QASM quick-release buckles and Velcro. This allows the panel to be removed and replaced with a variety of pre-configured panels that are both weapon and mission specific.
Unlike the V1 version, the V2 version of the LPC has an open, MOLLE-compatible "Skeleton" cummerbund.
The laser cut material is made of high-quality composite laminate material. All threads are resistant to mildew, UV light, water, heat and cold. All materials used have the lowest infrared values (99.8%) and are produced in the USA according to US military specifications.
The plate carrier can hold up to 25 x 30 cm ICW and stand-alone plates at the front and rear.
