The name says it all: with the POHL ONE, Eickhorn has realized the first knife design by the well-known knife expert and designer Dietmar Pohl in the Solingen high-tech production facility
In cooperation with SWAT instructors from the USA, a mission folding knife was created that meets the special requirement profile for special operations forces, but is also ideally suited as a daily companion for civilian use
The offset back grind gives the massive recurve blade made of Boehler N695 stainless steel (HRC 58) its special strength in the tip area
The large blade lifters on both sides and the flip guard ensure that the blade can always be opened quickly even when wearing gloves. A decisive plus, especially in extreme situations
The handle design allows different grip positions, whereby Dietmar Pohl placed the greatest emphasis on safe handling. In order to be able to use the POHL ONE safely even with wet hands, Eickhorn is one of the first Solingen manufacturers to use G-10 with Rough Grip surface. Two 1.5 mm thick liners made of hardened stainless steel as well as an aluminum spacer extending almost the entire length of the back of the handle ensure that the knife does not give way even under heavy loads
A pants clip secured with Torx screws keeps the POHL ONE always ready for use in the tip up position
