Use and effects of the POWER 200 stun gun:
- 0.5 second....a short shock that causes muscle spasm and fright in the attacker.
- 1-3 seconds...medium blow, causing the attacker to fall and a mental shock, but the attacker is able to move again after a short moment.
- 4-5 seconds...full blow that causes the attacker to fall, lose orientation, and go into shock for several minutes.

According to the regulations of the Physikalisch Technischen Bundesamt (PTB) the maximum discharge time for this stun gun is 10 seconds. After that the device switches off automatically for 2 seconds
The 10 seconds can be at a stretch or with several interruptions of less than 2 seconds. When the switch is released, the device is ready for operation again after 2 seconds.
Only stun guns with PTB test mark are approved for sale in Germany.
